The maintenance staff is steadily getting the golf course ready for the winter season. Bushes have been trimmed, heights of cut raised, and leaves get chopped on a daily basis. A few main items left to accomplish are winterize the irrigation system, not sure when that will happen yet, and treat the greens for snow mold. Again this year we will use three modes of protection on the greens. A fungicide, a anti transparent to hold the moisture and sand to protect the crown of the plant. We are trying to do anything possible to have green grass next spring.
The golf course is in great fall shape. Come out and enjoy!!
