Saturday morning we had a couple of weather delays with lots of lightning in the area. Upon inspecting the course I found that the intake to our irrigation pump was bulging and about ready to blow up!! I am guessing this is a result of a power surge from the weather in the area. I am thinking the surge shut the pump off and caused it to lose prime, the pump than turned back on but was not able to pump water. We were futunate to have a back up intake that needed a little tweaking to work, got us back up and running. Still checking some stuff out but so far have found no other causes.
The white area should be straight, not bulging.
