Light Top Dressing and Roll

Today we lightly top dressed te greens. Once the sand is dry we will then roll it into the canopy, as shown in the picture below. When finished there will be no effect on the greens playability, in fact they might even putt better!!

Did you know that Pinehusrt #2 reduced the number of sprinkler heads they had from 1125 to 450 during the 2011 restoration project. At Moccasin Creek we currently have 487 heads on the course and another 57 on the driving range / practice areas. 

Green speeds at Pinehurst this week are expected to be in the 12 range. The last week at MC3 we have been running 9-9.5.
